Guided bone regeneration (GBR) is a surgical procedure to create and maintain the space for osseous regeneration using barrier membrane. Titanium mesh is the biocompatible membrane that ensures rigid space making. This case report presents ridge augmentation with titanium mesh with two different fixation methods. Case I: A 64-year old female patient had edentulous ridge on #25. Buccal and palatal dehiscence was observed after implant placement. GBR procedure was performed with a newly designed titanium mesh. Case II: A 58-year old female patient had edentulous ridge on maxillary anterior area (#12, 11, 21, 22). Staged GBR procedure was performed with a conventional titanium mesh and fixation pins. During the treatment, healing was uneventful without wound dehiscence, severe swelling and infection in both cases. New osseous tissue was formed successfully in both cases. Implant prosthesis was restored in the ideal position of the ridge. GBR using titanium mesh is a predictable procedure to augment deficient alveolar ridge. And selection of titanium mesh and fixation method is important. Rigid fixation could be considered at severe cases with long span.
